The investment of a newborn session differs from photographer to photographer, and where you live. Although cost is a factor and rightfully so, try not to make it the only factor.
These photographs will be in your family for generations, they will be shown again in 30 years time at your child’s wedding, then resurface when your child is expecting their own baby. When you hold these photographs in 35-40 years time, you will close your eyes and be able to recall everything about your child when they were newborns – their baby ‘smell’, the warmth of their bodies, their little fingers and toes. These photographs will not only serve as documentation – they will serve as food for your soul. Although cost is a factor, it shouldn’t be the deciding factor. Choose a professional newborn photographer that will provide you with stunning images that you can’t live without.
Newborn
Newborn Package $975

What’s included: session fee + 25 professionally edited digital images with Print Release. I always include parent and sibling shots with these sessions if desired. (Newborn sessions typically take between 2.5-3.5 hours)
Lifestyle newborn sessions (in-home) are available for an additional $75 (includes 30 digital images). These are done in the comfort of your own home. These are more relaxed and less posed. Your home will be the backdrop and only one posed (floor) setup will be included. We typically shoot where there is the best natural light. Please only book if you home has adequate natural light (window light only) and remember that your HOME is your backdrop.
Newborn “Mini” Package $725

What’s included: session fee + 10 professionally edited digital images with Print Release. 1-2 set-ups. This session is for baby ONLY. Parent and sibling shots are NOT included with these mini sessions as time simply does not allow for it. These sessions are much shorter, so props and poses will be decided by the photographer. Baby may be awake for all/some of the session as well.
Newborn “Mini” sessions usually take between 1-1.5 hours.
Maternity Package
$575 (Maternity sessions are available to newborn clients only)
What’s included: session fee + 25 professionally edited digital images with Print Release. This session is for mom and dad only. You can add a child for $75. I recommend booking this session between 31-35 weeks along (earlier for twin mommas). This session typically lasts 45-60 minutes.
Baby/Child
Baby/Child Milestone Session $550

What’s included: session fee + 20 professionally edited digital images with Print Release. This session is for 1 child (ages 3 and under) for their milestone session. You may add-on a sibling OR parents for an additional $75. If you add sibling AND parent shots, this is an additional $100.
Family Portrait Package (Immediate Family – outdoor only)- $750

What’s included: session fee + 30 professionally edited digital images with Print Release.
Family Portrait sessions are available outdoors ONLY for the months of (late) May – October. Portrait sessions usually last about 60 minutes. My style is more documentary and natural for family sessions vs. overly posed. I will prompt you to show genuine interaction and laughs/love between your family.
These sessions will take place during the sunset/sunrise hour(s) only on a weekday evening.

Pricing is all-inclusive
Pricing is all-inclusive, which means digital pictures and printing release are included. All of the headbands, hats, backdrops, props, etc. are provided. Sessions can be done indoors at Meghan’s Minneapolis studio or w/in 30 minutes of Minneapolis if outdoors/in-home is preferred.
